Individual Therapy
You Know Something Has to Change
Maybe you realized it after yet another failed relationship, or maybe it’s hitting you in your current one—different person, same patterns. You feel like something is missing, but you can’t quite name it. You're stuck in the same loop, unseen and disconnected—not even sure who you are anymore. And you can't keep going like this.
From the outside, everything looks fine. Others might even envy what you have. But inside, you feel empty. Each day feels like a repeat of the last. You think you need a change, but you don’t know what that change should be or how to make it happen. You may even wonder if something is wrong with you—why do relationships feel so difficult when they seem to come naturally to others? You are not alone in this struggle, and there are real, practical ways to start changing the patterns that keep you stuck.
Your Relationship Feels Like It’s Falling Apart
Your spouse has checked out—and if you're honest, so have you. Without the kids, would you even still be together? You live separate lives under the same roof, wondering how things got here. This isn’t the marriage you imagined. Should you try to be more grateful, or do you need something more—something different?
Maybe your spouse has already told you they’re done. They refuse to go to couples counseling, and now you're left feeling lost. You don’t want your marriage or family to fall apart, but you don’t know what to do next. You're desperate for answers, for hope, for a way forward. The fear of losing everything can feel paralyzing, but this moment—right now—can also be the start of something new. You have more power to shape your future than you might believe.
Individual Relationship therapy Can Help
The truth is, the quality of our relationships starts with the quality of our relationship with ourselves. Who we believe ourselves to be has a ripple effect on every relationship in our lives. Yet, in the chaos of daily life, we often lose sight of what truly matters. It’s easy to fall into autopilot, reacting rather than reflecting, repeating old patterns rather than forging new paths.
This is where I come in.
I offer Couple-Sensitive Individual Therapy, sometimes called Individual Relationship Therapy—a specialized approach to helping you navigate relationship struggles, even if your partner refuses to participate. You don’t need your spouse in the room to change your relationships. By understanding relational patterns and working on your own personal growth, you can shift the dynamic in meaningful ways. You’ll gain clarity, self-awareness, and practical tools to create healthier connections, whether in your current relationship or future ones.
How therapy Can Help You
I specialize in relationships—what keeps them together, what strengthens them, and what sometimes leads to their end. In our work together, we will:
Identify patterns that are keeping you stuck.
Explore what you truly need in your relationships and how to communicate those needs.
Examine past experiences that shaped how you show up in relationships today.
Develop new skills to break unhealthy cycles and build the connections you want.
Strengthen your emotional intelligence so you can better navigate difficult conversations and relationship challenges.
Choosing the Right therapist Matters
Not all therapy is the same. I’m not a "smile-and-nod" therapist who simply validates your struggles without offering solutions. My approach is science-based and highly specialized. I won’t just tell you that relationships are hard—I’ll show you how to make them better.
Within a trusting and supportive counseling relationship, I will challenge you to step outside of old patterns, redefine what you want in your relationships, and take active steps toward change. This is where the transformation happens. Healing and growth take work, but they also bring freedom, clarity, and a sense of empowerment.
